ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)
Scientara Journal publishes scholarly articles on an open access basis. An Article Processing Charge is applicable only to accepted articles and helps support the publication of the final article.
The USD amount shown above reflects the journal's currently displayed equivalent amount and is not a permanent exchange-rate guarantee.
Important: APC is payable only after acceptance. There is no APC for a rejected manuscript. Submission itself does not require APC payment. APC payment does not guarantee acceptance, and editorial as well as peer-review decisions remain independent of payment.
Who may pay the APC
The APC may be paid by the corresponding author, any author, the author's institution, university, research organization, funding agency, or another authorized sponsor. The journal does not require that the author personally bear the charge if institutional or third-party support is available.
Editorial Independence
Payment of the APC does not influence editorial screening, peer review, reviewer selection, editorial decision, acceptance, rejection, or publication priority. The APC is a publication-related charge associated with an accepted article.
Editorial decisions are based on scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and scholarly contribution.
The journal does not treat payment as a substitute for editorial assessment, and no author should expect preferential handling because of APC payment.
Additional policy notes
- The APC applies only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.
- Rejected manuscripts are not charged an APC.
- Submission does not require APC payment.
- The journal may update APC-related instructions on its website when needed.
